The Hôtel de France Paris gets a complete transformation and welcomes Brossier Saderne luminaires!

Built in the 1800s, the Hôtel de France Gare de Lyon Bastille*** welcomes you 2 steps from the Gare de Lyon, the Gare d'Austerlitz and the Place de la Bastille. The Hôtel de France Gare de Lyon Bastille, formerly the Grand Hôtel de France, was built at the end of the 19th century. It was built to coincide with the 1900 Universal Exhibition, and stands as a witness to a key period in the history of Paris: the ‘Belle Epoque’. In 2022, a total restoration of the building was launched with extensive works. Redecorated by Jean-Michel TARALLO of the ÉTAT de GRÂCE studio and Elisa Luzzato of EL/A9 Studio, the hotel now offers 40 rooms in an elegant, comfortable and fully-equipped setting.

Just a stone's throw from the Gare de Lyon, the pretty and colourful rue Crémieux and the bustling Bastille district, the Hôtel de France has undergone a complete makeover following extensive renovation work.

Inspired by the Paris of the Belle Époque, the decor, orchestrated by Jean-Michel TARALLO of studio ÉTAT de GRÂCE and Elisa Luzzato of EL/A9 Studio, is subtle and warm, with delicate nuances and soft materials.

Brossier Saderne was called in to light the bedrooms and communal areas. Wall lights with a round, elegant design and two hemispherical shades finished in gold or silver and brown illuminate the communal areas and bedrooms. LARGO reading lights in a matt black finish with LED backlighting have been chosen from our catalogue to provide targeted lighting above the headboards, while suspended ceiling lights with white opal glass globes in a satin black finish provide optimum illumination in the dining room.

Ideally located for exploring Paris's greatest monuments, this hotel now offers a bright and comfortable environment, to the great satisfaction of its guests.
